New Balance’s ‘MADE in USA’ division has been on a bit of a tear lately and with this latest 990v3, they’re only adding more fuel to the irresistibly cool fire. Dressed with a green mesh base the upper is layered with a lattice of crisp pine-green suede while shaggy suede hits the toe and heel. A lick of gold douses the ‘N’ logo on the laterals while textured logo detailing lands on the black tongue. Underfoot, we have a full-length ENCAP midsole in grey and off-white while a black rubber outsole completes the look.
