Fresh off a star-studded revival with Aimé Leon Dore, New Balance treats us to an in-line release of the beloved Rainier Hiking boot. Developed and used by the first American team to scale the treacherous North Wall of Mount Everest the Rainier is built to take a beating. Constructed with a blue, woven mesh base the upper is layered with hairy mocha suede while extra padded brown leather wraps the collar. Metal hiking eyelets lock down the tongue while NB logo detailing is embroidered on the laterals. Underfoot we have a thick midsole that shrouds the toe while thick trail lugs are embedded in the outsole.
