Converse x The Barriers Chuck 70 Hi
Created in collaboration with Barriers Worldwide, this premium release finds its inspiration in the ‘North Star’, a staunchly anti-slavery newspaper founded by statesman and celebrated orator Frederick Douglass in 1847. At their core Barriers seeks to educate and inspire while amplifying messages of anti-racism and seeking positive change in the world. This offering reconstructs the iconic canvas upper of the Chuck 70 Hi in acrid black with red text detailing on each lateral. Multicolored laces work their way up the tongue from a shell lace lock to a Barriers Worldwide hangtag while a scuffed midsole with black piping and custom printed insole complete the look.
