For our sixth collaborative effort with adidas, we set out to explore the importance and impact of energy in all of its forms. From this came ‘Onyx’, realised across the iconic Supernova Cushion 7 silhouette. Beginning with a breathable, black mesh base, the upper is secured by three banded-metallic stripes on either side while glistening patent leather strips trace their way from the toe to the heel. A coat of shifting iridescence rests on the toe while rubberized logos on the tongue and heel round out the upper. The midsole, constructed from tactile adiPRENE acts to dissipate kinetic shockwaves, while a TORSION TPU arch allows for symbiotic movement of the forefoot and heel.
