Realized using Maison Margiela’s decortiqué design lens, the Parisian House has stripped back the iconic ‘The Question’ silhouette to expose the craftsmanship behind the silhouette. Exposing foam along the laterals and heel while separating the lace housing from the body of the upper illustrates the fine, handcrafted details of the shoe, while the signature lace loops are shifted to the center of a gold mesh tongue. The tongue and oval on the midsoles have been treated with a Hexalite formula usually confined to the midsole, while an embossed ‘22’ on the heel and icy translucent midsole completes the look.
