Seen through Margiela’s conceptual “Memory Of” lens, this black Reebok Club C dons a deconstructed look. The Reebok check and eyelet cover on the laterals has been stripped back to expose the hidden felt lining beneath while silver pen markings track the shoemaker’s rarely seen design process. Remnants of the finished design linger on the laterals in the form of frayed seams that track back towards the deconstructed heel tab. Additionally, the tongue tag has been slashed in two to make way for both brands, an artistic nod to the symbiotic nature of collaboration. Finally, a crisp black EVA midsole and rubber outsole complete the design.
