Experienced E-commerce Director to join high-growth fashion company as COO.

Since opening their doors in 2004, Naked Copenhagen has grown to become the world's leading supplier of sneakers for women worldwide. Naked Copenhagen focuses exclusively on meeting the unique needs of female consumers. In an industry usually dominated by men, it is part of Naked's DNA to strive to empower women globally, through various platforms such as social media and editorials.

Founded by business partners and friends Tommas Olsen and Stine L. Pedersen, Naked started as a store in the heart of Copenhagen and has now expanded to a global web shop, with another store in Copenhagen, one in Aarhus and one opening in Paris, Marais, on Dec.1.2023.

Naked Copenhagen primarily offers sneakers, as well as clothing and accessories from major brands like Nike, Adidas, Asics, Vans, New Balance, Air Jordan, Reebok, Onitsuka Tiger, Puma, and more.

Over time, Naked Copenhagen has collaborated with e.g. Adidas Originals, Vans, Reebok, and Asics - to create sneakers and apparel with Naked's own aesthetics and visual identity. Keep an eye out for more collaborations in the near future!

To take part in the continued success and internationalization, Naked Copenhagen is now looking for an experienced, data-driven and motivating COO.

The opportunity

The COO plays a key role in the operational management of the Naked Copenhagen, working closely with senior management in Denmark and France and functional teams to achieve the company's strategic objectives. The COO's main objectives include:

  1. Operations optimization: The COO oversees all daily operations within marketing, e-commerce, retail, customer care and supply chain and optimizes the efficiency of the operational processes within these areas.
     
  2. Team management: Leading and motivating operational teams, including logistics, supply chain management and point of sale management, and ensuring they achieve their objectives.
     
  3. Performance management: Establishing key performance objectives and supervising staff performance to achieve them. Monitor key KPIs, analyse operational data and propose corrective actions to achieve performance targets.
     
  4. Strategic expansion: Participating in the definition and implementation of the company's growth strategy, including the development of new sales channels and markets. 

       Key responsibilities of the COO

  1. Operations optimization: Improving the efficiency of operations to increase the company's overall profitability
    • Analyzing, optimizing and overseeing day-to-day operations, setting weekly performance targets and ensuring that they are met, while meeting its own objectives.
    • Overseeing all digital activities, incl. e-commerce, websites, digital media. Ensuring the generation of reports on performance analytics, website traffic and product performance, and guaranteeing that all deadlines are met.
    • Overseeing supply chain management, logistics and distribution.
    • Optimize stock management to minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks.
    • Ensuring the quality and reliability of operational processes.
    • Assessing and improving organizational effectiveness by implementing processes, coaching employees, fostering a motivating work environment and proposing innovative approaches to continuous improvement.
       
  2. Team management:
    • Recruiting, integrating, training and supervising operational teams to achieve sales, profitability, market share and business plan targets.
    • Fostering a collaborative, performance-driven working environment.
    • Maintaining high standards of excellence and quality in all operations.
       
  3. Strategy and growth: developing and implementing strategic plans to promote the company's growth and optimize productivity.
    • Identify new opportunities for development and diversification.
    • Assess potential strategic partnerships.
       
  4. Financial management:
    • Working with the finance department to develop, implement and monitor budget and resource allocation plans
    • Monitor operating costs and identify ways of improving them.

      The right profile

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within B-2-C e-commerce from operational management positions, e.g. as a COO, Business Unit Mgr. CMO, VP Operations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Proven team and project management skills.

As a result of rapid international growth, NAKED Copenhagen is in search of
an ambitious E-commerce Intern to join our team.
As an intern, you will be working with all aspects of e-commerce with a
particular focus on content management and newsletters.

Your tasks:

  • Setup editorial blog posts
  • Setup campaign and front page content on website
  • Execute and develop email marketing campaigns.
  • Segmenting customer databases for email marketing.
  • Be a part of preparing and maintaining new products.
  • Set up landing pages on the website.

Skills and qualifications:

We are looking for a proactive, self-driven, and experienced Finance Manager to manage our existing team of 3 people in Accounting and Business controlling. As Finance Manager, we expect a focus on consistency to ensure accurate and reliable financial accounting and reporting, while challenging and advising management with your expertise.

Finance Manager (Interim) – as of 1st of January

Job Description

·       Prepare and support team in month-end and year-end close. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
·       Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management.
·       Coordinate year-end audit with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules, data, and information.
·       Manage and comply with all government reporting requirements and tax filings
·       Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions.
·       Lead other projects as requested by management.

In this manager position, you will also need to assist and advise the team on following missions important for the company:

·       Accounting: A/R follow up with payment providers, A/P with and/or without Purchase Orders. Fixed Assets management. Reconciliation and quality assurance of VAT.
·       Business controlling: Payroll processing. Inventory Accounting. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process. Optimization and developing of internal reporting structures, budget forecasts, and P&L statements. Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities. Cashflow management.
·       A dedicated resource will be allocated to develop PowerBI reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
·       Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Auditor or similar position is preferred
·       Ability to manage and lead a team
·       Expert knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
·       Experience with ERP systems and/or financial software
·       Fluent in English and Danish, written and verbal
·       Structured, organized, and analytical
·       Adaptable to busy surroundings and changing priorities
·       Experience in retail industry is a plus

Overview:

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in project coordinating the tasks for the creative marketing team. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

- Project manage all tasks and budgets for the creative marketing team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing concrete, detailed plans for all projects, including the schedule, the budget, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the projects.
- Coordinate and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage the coordination and execution of marketing events, including seeding logistics, vendor management, and on-site support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as ecommerce, buying, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a creative marketing environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and software, such as project management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge.

Sales Assistant - Paris

NAKED Copenhagen is searching for salespeople to join NAKED Copenhagen’s French branch, at our soon-to-open flagship Parisian location in La Marais. The qualified candidate will take an active part in providing an excellent customer and shopping experience in-store, in order to create preferred and personal bonds with our local and global communities.
You will understand and embody NAKED Copenhagen’s DNA while contributing to the creation of NAKED Paris’ DNA. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a creative flair for generating new selling ideas in collaboration with your teammates.

Your main missions:

-      Welcoming, advising, and assisting your customers in the most qualitative way possible
-      Providing unrivalled in-store / omnichannel customer solutions and services
-      An in-depth understanding and appreciation of our product portfolio.
-      Working the register and processing sales to ensure the most fluid purchasing experience.
-      Understanding the store sales plan and company sales goals as well as reaching your individual sales and KPI targets.
