Converse has linked up with LA-based label Come Tees, for a fresh take on an eternal classic in the Chuck 70 Hi, once again just showing how versatile this silhouette can be. Come Tees, founded by artist Sonya Sombreuil in 2009, and endorsed by Kanye West among others is renowned for its unique artistic approach to screen printing. Come Tees artistic flair is on full display here, with each panel of the shoe dominated by a unique image constructed in rough brush strokes or flowing tie-dye patterns. Up the tongue of each shoe, you find a white handprint set across the canvas, while the All-Star patch has been swapped out for an electric orange iteration. Finally, the heel of each shoe is marked by unique logo embroidery and messaging. The upper rests on a classic Chuck midsole while the outsole takes on a faux-shattered look.
