Well, courtesy of our good friends in Kobe, Japan, we’re dropping the top on the stylistic multi-tool that is the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN™. Drawing inspiration from ASICS’ legendary GEL-FUJITRABUCO™ trail series, the novel GEL-TERRAIN™ opts for a rugged no-sew ripstop fabric upper and an easy-to-use speed-lacing system. Using technical welding techniques, the upper is locked down by abrasion-resistant TPU film layers along the toe and laterals while a sturdy faux leather guard supports the heel. Finally, if you’ve never been walking on clouds but can’t wait to try, ASICS has packed the midsole with FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning while bouncy GEL™ inserts land in the heel for a ride that is just a little out of this world.
